Sarah Katherine Jones is a painter that takes inspiration from the natural world. She takes an intuitive approach to painting, reducing complicated floral arrangements to simple shapes and complimentary colour palettes.
She uses gouache (an opaque watercolour medium) to paint the loose, gestural shapes that make up her contemporary paintings. Her most recent collection drew inspiration from the yellow, pink and blue flowers that are often seen in wildflower meadows across the UK.
